Almost Weekend

Millie found out last weekend that she had an UTI. Lots of doctor visits and surgery - and it was a UTI all along? She is better that's what matters.

We headed to Baton Rouge on Saturday for the La Tech / LSU game. Had a good time, parked so far away, tailgated, and sat 4 rows from the top! It was a long walk up!! Dale & Millie are afraid of heights and it was not fun for them. Tech should have won the game.

I am ready to head to Dallas for Kate's wedding. I will be driving Miriam and Maggie, so I don't know how much shopping I will get to do.

A week at the Doctors

Millie went to Shreveport to an urinary specialist, they had a completely different opinion. She is now on different med and they are checking cultures. Mollie was supposed to go for an annual check up, but the doc was in surgery so it was rescheduled. She goes to the cardiologist tomorrow, hopefully she will get her test results. My father has hand surgery tomorrow so another afternoon in the doctor's office.

Quite a scare

Got a call after midnight that Mollie was sick and her roommates were taking her to the ER. WE met them there. Had to wait a while before we could go back. Her roommates gave the wrong birthday and the other one but their last name as hers. They ran a bunch of tests and admitted her. Ran more tests. Looks like it had to do with her heart problem. Still waiting on the results from a couple of tests and to schedule a follow up visit. It may have just been exhaustion. She had been having too much fun and staying up way to late. She does not like the way the medicine they are giving her makes her feel, she has agreed to take until we have the follow up visit. It was given as an option. Hope she gets plenty of rest this weekend.

Mollie's new apt

The girls still do have have heat or hot water - should get it today. Yesterday, they came home and there was no power. Hailey did not go by the utility department to have the lights changed over from the previous renters. They have met their neighbors and seem to like them; girls on one side and boys on the other. There are 6 college guys in the 4 bedroom apt next door. Should be interesting. They are enjoying walking to class, its perfect weather for it.

I'm enjoying the quiet house. Need to get a book to read while Dale watches football. I am getting great sleep!

Molie Moved Out

Well, Mollie has been out of the house for 4 days. The still do not have their heat turned on. It should be connected tomorrow. Next will be cable TV.

I'm getting used to it. I am sleeping much better and finally catching up on all the sleep I have missed for the past 4 months. I miss her and worry about her. I am praying without ceasing for her.
