New Year

I have not blogged in a while. I'm back at work :(, but it is snowing :). I have been watching it snow all morning. It is not sticking, which is fine with me. I just loving watching it from a warm place. It's just about to stop!!!

With the cold weather - all I can thing about is fixing soup. Beef Taco soup, Chicken Taco soup, Chili, Shrimp chowder, Gumbo, Corn Chowder, Hopping John. . .

It's time for me to get serious about Fat Flush meals again. I lost 25 pounds last summer and I have kept it off. I would love to lose 10 more, but the last 10 are always the hardest. I have my cranwater and an apple - I'm trying. The holidays were so hard, not much in the willpower department. The regular routine will help.

Hi Claire, thought I'd stop by and say hi. I've tried the cran water. Not a huge fan. Do you add anything to it, or just drink it straight? I need to get past the taste and just do it. Congratulations on losing 25 pounds, that is great!! Another thing I read about regarding Fat Flush that may help with your final 10 is that we need to prep our livers. Ann Louise said something about juicing half a lemon and adding it to 6 ounces of water once or twice a day for a couple weeks. She said this readies our liver for the forthcoming changes. Maybe you've already read that... I have tried that and do notice a difference almost right away. Have a great day!! Erin

Hey Erin. It took me a while to get used to the cranwater. You can add the Ann Louise suggested sweetner, but I never have like anything but sugar - so it's cold turkey for me - no sugar. Just the cran. With all the cold weather, it came to me the other day - heat the cranwater. So after my 1 cup of fair trade coffee. I drink my cranwater hot. I do drink the cup of hot lemon juice each morning. I also drink the dandelion root every now & then, at first it tasted like tar. I will never crave it, but I can drink it. Claire
