Freezing weather

The water pipes froze in Mollie's apartment. The kitchen sink froze, they were not sure about the washer, and Jordan's tub and sink(they are on an exterior wall). It surprised me that the kitchen sink froze. There must not be much insulation. Mollie made sure to leave the tub dripping last night, so it worked today. The got a call at dark this evening that the apt was flooding. Haley's room was flooding, it's the only down stairs bedroom, they can't get their landlord. I called the water department and they cut off the water to the apartment. I guess she will be bathing at home. It will be Monday before they will be able to reach their landlord and who knows when they can send a plumber. The local plumbers have all been very busy with the freeze.

Our house has been fine. We checked everything last night and it was OK this morning. Dale double checked everything tonight. I caught up on my washing just in case there are problems. Suzanne & Greg have frozen pipes to their wash room and extra bathroom. I am ready for it to get back to above freezing. The south is not prepared to cold weather.
